My name is Mr. Chris R. Trottier. My wife, Mary, and I live in Burlington with our 3 children. I completed my Bachelor's Degree from U.W.-Platteville, and my Master's Degree from National Louis University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, yard work, reading, and traveling. I also coach 10U softball for the Burlington Blast.
Student achievement is my passion. When I decided to serve as a leader in education, I was driven by my lack of preparedness and readiness for post high school challenges and opportunities. This personal experience drives me to ensure that no child shares in the same experience as myself. As a leader, I believe in creating opportunities for all students, developing collaborative teams for teachers to engage in on-going professional development around best practices in teaching and learning, ensuring all students have the necessary information and skills to be college and career ready, with an emphasis on STEM, critical thinking, problem solving, and employability skills, and personalizing learning for students through the use of technology integration.
My commitment to you is that I will work tirelessly to prepare your child for life after high school. Go Elks!
