Laude

The Laude System allows us to recognize and encourage students to take rigorous courses which will better prepare students for the future. This system is a point-based system which combines a student's GPA and honor points.

Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude or Cum Laude is determined by multiplying the GPA at the end of the third trimester of a student's senior year by the total number of honors points accumulated during their academic career.

The ranges for each award are as follows:

Cum Laude: 20 to 39.9
Magna Cum Laude: 40 to 59.9
Summa Cum Laude: 60 or greater
